Alt-folk/pop singer-songwriter, Duxie Franklin, has been hailed as “one of the country’s most unique and exciting emerging acts” (Happy Magazine Blog).
Duxie’s newest release is the vibrant, sun-soaked single, ‘Chlorine’. This surf-rock-inspired track transports listeners into the surrealistic daydreams of Duxie’s imagination, with catchy melodies and feel-good vibes that are impossible to resist.
Accompanying the single release is an underwater music video odyssey, which premiered on Amniplify on November 7th. More than 6 months in the making, the ‘Chlorine’ music video features Duxie and several of her Long Lost Texan Uncles living their best lives in an underwater swimming pool lounge room.

Duxie’s debut EP, called ‘Watch Your Soul’, was released in 2020, pre-COVID. The EP expresses a wide spectrum of musicality and lyricism and received positive coverage on Scenestr, Happy Mag and The Soundcheck, whilst securing airplay across the country.
Melbourne-based, multi-instrumentalist Duxie Franklin effortlessly combines elements of Pop, Indie, Alternative and Folk to create her endearing sound. Her unique and catchy melodies draw frequent comparisons to legends such as Joni Mitchell, Kate Bush, Björk and Gillian Welch.

As a multi-disciplinary artist, Duxie is passionately involved in every step of the music making process from writing and production to video direction, photography and even merch, costume and jewellery making.
