Both independently successful singer-songwriters, Duxie and Louis bring their talents and musical passions together where 1 + 1 = more than 2!

Hailed as ‘one of Australia’s most unique and exciting emerging acts’ (Happy Magazine Blog), Duxie’s ultra clear vocals and creative guitar-playing provide a silky-smooth musical edge to the duo. Duxie’s solo career includes the release of her debut EP as well as singles, ‘It’s Time’, ‘Watch Your Soul Sink’ and ‘Get a Real Job’. Duxie is often likened to Joni Mitchell but also draws on the eclectic and avant garde styles of artists like Frank Zappa and Bjork.

Louis’ bluesy, punk-rock inspired vocals and solid rhythm guitar form the backbone of our duo. As a classically trained trumpet player, Louis’ early love of singing quickly led him to songwriting and performing on stages around Melbourne. With the release of his debut single, ‘Company’, Louis is making an impression on the Australian indie music scene.
